The foyer
This is the entrance to the new Vancouver Convention Centre. The floor has large 'carpets' made of glass tiles. Very weaverly. ;) Sent from my BlackBerry device on the Rogers Wireless Network
Yes, plate glass can be used for many, many things... Should anybody be interested, pictures from our (small) exhibition of more/different uses, take a look at http://bergdala.blogspot.com/2010/11/den-stora-vernissagedagen.html ...wish we had that picture for our book-to-be :-) Kerstin in Sweden - primarily a weaver, but slowly becoming a glass-nerd too...
I love the mural or whatever it is to the right of the escalator. By the way my library has The Four Seasons and I have put in a request for it. Thanks for the heads up. I do know Vivaldi (his music) and enjoy it very much. I'll bet that you would recognize The Four Seasons when you hear it, snippets of it appear in lots of places. I especially love the Winter part.
