Hiatus

I fell and had a brain bleed.

It looks like I can go home today.

  5. Thank you for letting us know about your fall and brain bleed. You are kind to reach out to keep us in the loop. As much as I enjoy reading your regular blog posts, even more do I want you to recover at a relaxed pace.

I have been reading – savoring slowly – your book “Tales From the Matrix” and absorbing as much information as this elder brain can handle (maybe I need a few more brain wrinkles). Thank you for sharing your weaving knowledge and your life experience knowledge. You are a good story teller. Thank you, too, for sharing the names of books you are reading.

What a surprise to discover in “Tales From the Matrix” some references to Tyson Yunkaporta about learning… and laughter… and the importance of sharing knowledge. Tyson Yunkaporta, an Aboriginal scholar, is from Aurukun on the northwestern side of the Cape York Peninsula in Queensland, Australia. My family lives on the southeastern side of the peninsula. Our two communities are about 800km apart (that’s pretty close, in Australia). Amazing how threads of connection appear, from one side of the globe to the other.

May your recovery continue to go well. Glad you are going home soon.
