Show and Tell

At the end of class the school has a closing ceremony where each class can set up a display to share what the students have made during the week.  Two of the students wanted to leave before then so their work is not represented in the weaving display.

But the Boot Camp class focus was on learning and improving skills, not necessarily on production.

Hearts - someone made hearts! That's very cool. I'm still using the towels I made at Folk School in 2011. And today, I hope to start weaving for the first time in our new house! Loom is assembled and warp is wound on. Threading and sleying (a scarf) and then the fun starts.

Oh, I love show and tell.

Sometimes it's show and explain-why-it-doesn't-exactly-look-like-I-intended.

My favorite is show and "WOW! Look what I made! I didn't know I could do that." That makes me glow.
