In 1975 I was looking for a career that would fascinate me for the rest of my life. In a way, weaving chose me!
The procedure wasn't as bad as I expected - the aftermath is worse. :( Lots of ice packs and not too much sitting so I'm propped up in bed reading mostly, today. Tomorrow should be better. :)cheers,Laura
:-(Like your recuperation plan though!
I'm getting fed up laying down. Fortunately I'm feeling better so I'm moving around some, sitting some. :)cheers,Laura
When you said that you were getting a bone marrow biopsy done I thought "OUCH" as I have heard first hand that they are not pleasant.I hope you are feeling better soon...Susan
Hoping for good results, and swift recovery!
Oooh. So sorry to hear that you are uncomfortable. Hope you feel better soon.Chris
I'm glad you're past it now. Sorry that sitting is uncomfortable, but I hope you're soon back on the weaving bench - or at the spinning wheel.
I managed to spin for a while, watching a bit of tv. :) It's better this morning, although still tender. I'm hoping to be back up to speed on Monday when I plan to go up to the guild room for a dye day.cheers,Laura
Here, have a virtual hug. That and a cup of tea should help :-)Take it easy for a few days, and that'll help even more!
Have been 'fighting' with my auto cloth advance - it's not wanting to advance properly with the 32 pick wheel. :(Taking a sanity break - may spin for a while and see if I can finish the bobbin I started yesterday. :)cheers,Laura
