Moving Right Along

or I would be if I weren't procrastinating...

Sample warp being dressed on the loom while more warps await in the wings.

Yes, my studio is messy.  It's 'creative chaos'.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it...

You don't really know what "messy" means, do you? No, you don't... Because I was going to say... Wow, what a lovely tidy space... :-P

That's only because you can't see the *rest* of the mess.... :-/ Nor can I use the trampoline with all that stuff on it. It will have to come off so I can!
cheers,
Laura

Laura, can you tell me why sometimes, actually quite often recently, no option to comment is available at the end of your posts ?~!

I agree about the tidy factor-looks pretty good from here altho I do detect few trouble areas... :)

That's why it looks so comfortable!
I can't keep any space neat close to my weaving spaces. And clutter definitely increases with with my age.

Sorry for redundancy-just checking why my previous post went through anonymous- resending hopefully will work.

Thumbs up for 'creative chaos'! :-))
An aside question for which I cannot find an answer in your archives or am looking in the wrong place and need direction.
I have noticed in blog photos and videos that tape measures seem strategically placed on your looms. Can you tell me the purpose, how and where exactly they are placed securely since photos skew the placement?

I know you never do anything without a helpful reason so an inquiring mind wants to know. Thank you.

Hi Lynda - vagaries of Blogger? As admin, I don't know that I see the same thing as the public so wasn't aware of the comment option disappearing.

Re: measuring tapes - I have one centering tape attached to the front of the beater which makes it easy to centre my warps during beaming.

cheers,
Laura
