De Nile

Instead of doing what I should be doing I am ignoring the buckets of hemming.

Monday will be eaten up in errands etc., so I won't get much loom time.  But I finished the wool sample tonight and hope to dress the loom with the silk warp tomorrow.

As predicted it warmed up and we appear to be in the midst of spring break up.  The snow pack was visibly smaller today, thankfully!

For now I am going to have another cup of tea and see if I can't make a bigger dent in that pile of hemming!

That's a rich red. Of two minds about hand sewing-I can get some serious instant gratification and then immediate frustration because my vision makes it hard to thread a needle.

Your weaving inspires me to be a better craftsperson. For that I thank you, Laura.

I bought needles with large eyes because my sight isn't good, either. :(

Cheers

I, too, have had difficulty threading needles particularly the fine needles that I prefer for hand sewing. A friend introduced me to a wonderful device for threading needles. I've seen the needle threader shown in the link below in the notions department of fabric stores.
