Mood Elevator

After days and days of grey days, many with freezing rain, Mother Nature has seen fit to grace day one of the Canada Winter Games with sunshine.

It is still too warm for February, but the appearance of the sun is very welcome.

It looks like the weekend will be quiet, more reading, perhaps a jigsaw puzzle will be set out.

Currently reading Gods and Beasts by Denise Mina

Yes the snow bank is taller than the truck...

soooo .... you don't want to hear about the bleeding hearts and irises sticking their little noses out of the ground, and raking up the yard down here. I call it compensation for 25 winters in the Peace Country.

Sounds like you're feeling better. Good.

We are at day three of the Canada Winter Games. We don't want to be gardening quite yet! I do regret that I feel too fragile to take in the nightly free entertainment. Would have loved to see Alan Doyle last night. Oh well.

Cheers
